Research Interests

My research focuses on analyzing market institutions performance in the agricultural value chain. Market institutions within the agricultural value chain facilitate the flow of quality and quantity information from producers to consumers, and price and preference information from consumers to producers. I particularly focus on factors determining efficient market price discovery.

When all factors comes together for price discovery, various segments of the agricultural value chain face different cost structures, value propositions, and decision support means. I collaborate with peers, inter-disciplinary researchers, graduate students, undergraduate students, and industry leaders in my research program. Below are recent publications.
